Balozi wa India ikipatikana jijini Dar es Salaam pamoja na
taasisi la shirikisho ya biashara na maonyesho inayoitwa India Medical tourism
destination ( utalii wa afya) ambayo itafanyika tarehe 30 na 31 Agosti, 2012
katika eneo la Diamond Jubilee. Maonyesho hayo zitaanza saa nne asubuhi mpaka
saa kumi na moja jioni na itaendelea kwa siku mbili.
India ina idadi kubwa ya watalii wanayofuata matibabu nchini
mwao na matumizi ya rupee 4,500 ( zaidi ya dola milioni 80) katika kupata
matibabu katika nchi 30 ulimwenguni, Marekani, Canada, Uingereza, Urusi, Warabuni,
Uganda, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, nchi ya Asia kila mwaka.
IMTD ilianzishwa mwaka 2009 nchini Canada, ikifuata utambuzi
kwamba utalii yakiafya imebadilika sana nchini India. Baada ya hapo mwaka 2011
nchini Kenya, Kuwait na Oman. Mwaka 2012 ilifanyika Tanzania na Kenya. Katika
jitihada hii hospitali chache, maduka ya dawa, mawakala ambazo zinafanya kazi
ya kujenga mazingira ikielimisha, kuwezesha na kuleta watalii wa afya kutoka
nchi mbali mbali.
IMTD 2012 inaleta pamoja watoa huduma yakiafya kutoka nchini
India, hospitali kubwa kutoka India kama Fortis, Medanta, Asian Heart, Seven
Hills, SRM Hospitral, Vasan Eye Care, idara ya Aayush, Serikali ya India, na nk.
Hospitali hizi zikilinganishwa pamoja na dawa za kisasa pamoja na zakiasili
kusaidia kujenga ubora wa juu, kimadili na kiuchumi endelevu matibabu ya idara
hii yakitalii yakiafya.
Madhumuni ya maonyesho haya nikuwezesha fursa yakujuana kwa
wataalamu, kwa wasomi na wadau kuweka jukwaa kwa masharika na taasisi nchini
India na Tanzania kushirikiana na kuimarisha huduma yakiafya. India inatoa
huduma yenye hali ya juu ambayo ina bei nafuu na hospitali nyingi zakihindi
zinaubora zakimataifa.

Tumefurahia kuweza kuwa na maonyesho haya hapa nchini Tanzania. Serikali ya
Tanzania imefanya kazi pamoja na wizara yetu ya afya kupitia IMTD. Kupitia
maonyesho hayo tungependa kutoa shukurani zetu na tunawakaribisha waTanzania
kuja kwenye maonyesho haya.
Maonyesho haya yatakuwa na ni miongoni na madaktari
wataalamu na madaktari ujumla. IMTD watakuwa katika maonyesho hayo, wadau
katika sekta ya afya kutoka nchini India ambayo ni pamoja na wakilishi kutoka
hospitali na vituo vya afya yenye hali za juu, surgery za mapambo, hospitali za
macho, Ortho care, bidhaa za afya, huduma zakiasili, utalii yakiafya, makampuni
za dawa, vituo vya physiotherapy, Yoga na huduma zingine ambazo zinapatikana
nchini India.

About India Medical Tourisim Destination
IMTD is a board under the Ministry of Health of the Republic
Government of India which works to create bridges between the clients of the
Medical Health Spectra of India with the broad clientelle of patients worldwide.
IMTD was initiated in the year following the realisation that the medical
tourism story has changed dramatically in India. Private enterprises have
created a very favorable atmosphere for patients with varying degrees of
illness to avail of the best facilities for their care.
In this endeavor a few corporate hospitals, chemists, freelance
agents all working in tandem to build a thriving ecosystem that educates, facilitates
and ferries medical tourists from across the world. In the year 2010, this
ecosystem was responsible for about 600,000 patients travelling to India and
spending 4,500 crore (Over 80 Mill USD) in getting treated here from over 30
counties around the world, USA, Canada, UK, Russia, the Middle East, Uganda, Tanzania,
